Was jimi Hendrix Murdered

Hello everyone, today's topic will be devoted to the greatest guitarist of all time, Jimi Hendrix, now this will be something for you to decide upon. At the time of Jimi Hendrix's death Jimi was going to leave his manager behind due to the fact that his manager was cheating him out of a huge amount of money. This pissed off Hendrix as it would any one of us and this is where the rumor behind his murder comes into play. People believe that Jimi's manager killed Jimi by pouring wine and pills down Jimi's throat therefore intoxicating him and causing him to overdose and die in his own vomit. There was even a book released by one of Jimi's roadies which has a quote from Jimi's manager where he said “I had to do it. Jimi was worth much more to me dead than alive. That son of a bitch was going to leave me. If I lost him, I’d lose everything.”
The author of the book said that Jimi's manager confessed to the crime a year after Jimi's death. while drunk at a road session. Now the motive behind the murder was to collect $2 million of life insurance from Hendrix. So you decide, is it possible that Jimi Hendrix's own manager killed him for the money?

BB King And Lucille

Today I would like to share with you the story of BB King and his guitar "Lucille" and how he named his guitar. A while back when King was playing gigs in clubs he had a near death experience. This happened during winter, King was playing a gig in a nightclub and since the place was poor they heated it using a barrel and fire. People would gather around the burning contents of the barrel for heat during the performances, and it just so happened that this night a fight broke out. Two men started fighting and one of the men got pushed onto this flaming barrel. The club lit up like a match due to its wooden construction and everyone including King fled the club. Once he left he realized he had forgotten his guitar, he quickly rushed back into the burning building to save his guitar and luckily made it out with his life. He later on found out that the men had been fighting over a waitress in the club called Lucille, and he named his guitar Lucille after the women that had caused this fire.

here is a video where King retells the story himself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGsvAMRFivo

The Best Rock Albums Of All Time

The Dark Side of the Moon, my favourite album of all time. (I do not own rights to this photo)
Hey whats up everyone, today i would like to share with you a couple of sites with lists of the best rock albums of all time and a little tip on how to get them for free.

1. Here is the first site, these first 25 albums shown here are amazing and you should definitely check them out: http://rateyourmusic.com/lists/list_view?list_id=121168&show=25&start=75

2. Here from the rollingstones website is another great list for you to have a look at:
http://www.rollingstone.com/news/story/5938174/the_rs_500_greatest_albums_of_all_time

And now if can not go out and buy these albums for whatever reason, if you need them just search the album name in google and then add mediafire and megaupload to the end, you may need a program to unzip rar. files as well, and this is all i am going to say, if you have further questions feel free to ask in a comment. Hopefully now all of you can get your hands on these awesome albums. But please remember that if you can go out and buy these albums please do so, because the music industry is going down in sales by a lot due to all the sites and file sharing programs out there. Thanks for reading.

Buying A New Guitar

http://guitar.about.com/od/helpbuyingguitarsgear/tp/electricguitars.htm This here is a site with five good, not too expensive beginner electric guitars, the list on the site is pretty good and i would personally recommend an epiphone to start off with because they are good quality guitars. Preferably an Epiphone Les Paul or you could even find Fender Stratocastors out there in the price range of 400-500$. Heres a link to real Strat for that price: http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-Standard-Stratocaster-HSS-Electric-Guitar?sku=501160

This site is also a very good site in terms of checking out prices and user reviews before you purchase a guitar, it will also tell you roughly how much you could be looking at spending on any particular guitar, because in stores its always a little more pricier to buy a guitar rather than online becuase the store has to ship the guitar to its location and then make a profit off of you. But i would always recommend if possible to buy in a store, you always want to play and feel out the guitar before you buy it, online your just judging by a photo and a few reviews, and when you buy in a store you see what condition the guitar is in and you are in full control. Another thing is, that when buying in a store you have people working there that offfer you personal advice that will help you choose the guitar that is right for you, so remember before you go and buy a brand new guitar, read reviews, check multiple prices, and always look to get from a store nearby. If you have any questions feel free to ask, i'll try and answer to the best of ability.

Jemini Review and Some Tips

Now heres a great distortion pedal i found, its made by Steve Vai and its called the Jemini. Depending on the store or site i have seen this pedal to cost around 200+$. Now if you want to see the legend Steve Vai play and show you the features of this wonderful pedal here is a link to his video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WrBLnB3ze5Y

Hey guys i found another great site for you all to check out it offers some quick tips on how to play lead guitar and some great explanations, so if your in for a few free lessons check out this site http://www.guitarsite.com/guitarlessons.php

Roy Buchanan

One of the greatest guitarists of all time. Roy Buchanan has long been considered one of the finest, yet criminally overlooked guitarists of the blues rock genre whose lyrical leads and use of harmonics would later influence such guitar greats as Jeff Beck, his one-time student Robbie Robertson, and ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons. Although born in Ozark, AR, on September 23, 1939, Buchanan grew up in the small town of Pixley, CA. His father was both a farmer and Pentecostal preacher, which would bring the youngster his first exposure to gospel music when his family would attend racially mixed revival meetings. First learning steel guitar, he switched to electric guitar by the age of 13, finding the instrument that would one day become his trademark: a Fender Telecaster. By 15, Buchanan knew he wanted to concentrate on music full-time and relocated to Los Angeles, which contained a thriving blues/R&B scene at the time. During the mid- to late '50s, Buchanan led his own rock band, the Heartbeats, which soon after began backing rockabilly great Dale ("Suzy Q") Hawkins. By the dawn of the '60s, Buchanan had relocated once more, this time to Canada, where he signed on with rockabilly singer Ronnie Hawkins. But just as his career seemed to be on the upswing once more, tragedy struck on August 14, 1988, when Buchanan was picked up by police in Fairfax, VA, for public intoxication. Shortly after being arrested and placed in a holding cell, a policeman performed a routine check on Buchanan and was shocked to discover that he had hung himself in his cell. Buchanan's stature as one of blues-rock's all-time great guitarist grew even greater after his tragic death, resulting in such posthumous collections as Sweet Dreams: The Anthology, Guitar on Fire: The Atlantic Sessions, Deluxe Edition, and 20th Century Masters. For full Biography please visit this great guitar site, with many exercises tabs and tips. ( http://www.myguitarsolo.com/Players/RoyBuchanan.htm ) Please do visit this site.

Hey everyone, i'm looking forward to buying a brand new electric guitar, my current one i'm using is a brighton pasedena 1. Its not a brand name but it plays nicely and has some nice features. But it is still a begginner guitar. For my next guitar im looking into the Gibson Les paul models, i'm not sure which one to get yet and my price range is aroud $1000. Also im looking for a model with a white and black finish or white and gold finish. Something that stands out. I might also trade in my 15 Watt Peavey Vypyr amp for a new 30 Watt one. If you guys have any suggestions i would appreciete them, thanks.

Crybaby Wah Wah

Hey guys i've just recently purchased the Dunlop crybaby wah wah pedal, sounds really good. Im going to post a video soon of a demo with it.
